| I'm not going to present an opinion here, all I want to do is point out that what the kid did was use Bills book to demonstrate that its possible to twist Bills words to make it look like he would condone drug use. When Bill says that he took his books words out of context it demonstrates that Bill is also taking this guys words out of context and spinning them. It was a clever trick to show that anyone can be made to look like they support any issue if you only look at part of the discussion. |

| You serious? Bill got caught blatantly misquoting and taking it out of context. O'Rielly quoted Becker as: "If I had some ecstasy here maybe I'd do it with you." ("You" meaning a student.) The actual transcript read: "If I had some maybe I'd do it with somebody, but I don't. I haven't tried it but there are people that do it." And that's in reference to psychiatric therapy. You may notice that Bill spoke up over that last part, because he prefers to stick to his ill-informed stereotypes. |

| Well....that kid was right; O'Reilly was wrong. Mr. O'Reilly took one comment from the conference, which Jesse agreed was, "a joke told in poor taste" and used that to condemn the whole conference. But, on the other hand, Bill O'Reilly took issue with the fact that young Jesse took a comment in his book out of context. Sorry, you can't have it both ways, Bill. And what was that about calling a 16 year old boy a "pinhead"? Grow up Bill! |
